Abstract

In a constantly evolving economic environment, traditional sources of competitive advantage, such as economies of scale or cost reductions, are becoming less sustainable, particularly due to technological innovations that allow competitors to quickly catch up. In this context, knowledge management emerges as a strategic resource for enhancing organizational performance. It facilitates learning, prevents knowledge loss, supports decision-making, fosters innovation, and strengthens operational efficiency.

Knowledge management involves an integrated approach that mobilizes both technological tools and human capital to leverage internal knowledge, reduce duplication of efforts, and accelerate decision-making processes. It thus becomes a key factor in improving organizational competitiveness and adaptability.

This study examines the contribution of knowledge management to organizational performance through a dual perspective: an analysis of theoretical insights regarding its role in overall performance and an exploration of the impact of human capital management on organizational effectiveness.

Keywords: Innovation, knowledge management, organizational performance, human capital
